Founding Attorney Ryan Hayden Smith is an experienced litigator and a well-versed trial attorney who strongly advocates for his clients. Ryan obtained his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis where he was invited to the Phi Betta Kappa honors fraternity. Ryan received his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law. At Vector Law Group, Ryan is the lead trial attorney, providing zealous advocacy to every client.

In addition to representing individual clients, and business entities, Ryan has experience with commercial law, business disputes, and construction law. Ryan’s clients are just as diverse as his civil practice. Ryan successfully defended the world-famous musician, Ja Rule in a $100 million-dollar class-action lawsuit concerning the Fyre Festival. Ryan skillfully got all 13 claims against Ja Rule dismissed, in In Re Fyre Festival Litigation before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. The full opinion is here. The Fyre Festival story can be found here.
When Ryan is not busy in the office or advocating in court, he enjoys spending time with his family and his dog. Much of that time is spent, fishing, traveling, or playing tennis.
